Solo Movie

Last night I went to see this movie. By myself. Which I am totally not ashamed of. In fact, I have been seeing movies by myelf since high school. Most of the time it's a win-win because I get to see a movie that I'm interested in, Tyson doesn't have to go with me and then complain about it for the next few months, and we save the money on another ticket. I wish Tyson would learn to see movies by himself because there are far more that he wants to see and always feels pressured to drag someone along....mostly me. I can't tell you how many of his movies I wish I hadn't seen and saved the money. But hey, that's marriage for you.

Which brings me back to this movie. Overall, I liked it and it was pretty funny. I won't be waiting for it to come out on DVD or anything, but I would definitely see it again with the right people. Sure it had some crude parts or overly sexual references (what movie doesn't these days?), but I think it had some true-to-life marriage scenarios. Some of them even made me laugh out loud, and I am not really a laugh out loud kind of girl. I usually just laugh on the inside. Plus it had a sweet ending. Predictable, but sweet.

I don't even love Cameron Diaz, but there was a charm about her in this movie. On the other hand, I am a big Ashton Kutcher fan. Not because I think he's especially talented or anything, but I actually find him attractive, which is rare for me. Although at some points in the movie I felt like I was watching Just Married with a twist in the storyline. Same marriage banter and finding love through it all. However, I was somewhat pleasantly surprised by that one as well. I thought it would be trashier and it ended up bearable.

For those of you who have seen it, the last clip at the end was hilarious. And for those of you who haven't seen it, well, you will have to see for yourself.
